1. You might have stopped & admired the Aliyar Dam before entering Valparai. This mountain has a rich source of water and that’s one of the main reasons why Valparai is decorated with tea estates.
2. Pin your Google map to Sholayar Dam and you’ll travel in one of the best routes in Tamilnadu, The stream seems to follow you until you reach the Dam. Don’t forget to try the freshly caught and cooked local fish available only near the Dam.
3. Go to Koolangal River (Vellamalai tunnel river) which is one of the most memorable places to me since my college days.
